Babylonia was a state in ancient Mesopotamia. The city of Babylon, the ruins of which lie in present-day Iraq, was founded more than 4,000 years ago as a small port city. It became one of the greatest cities of the ancient world during the reign of Hammurabi. Several centuries later, a new line of kings established a Neo-Babylonian empire that stretched from the Persian Gulf to the Mediterranean Sea. During this period, Babylon became a city of beautiful and lavish buildings. Biblical and archaeological evidence points to the forced exile of thousands of Jews to Babylon at this time. I believe we've all heard of Babylon or the tall tower in the world at the time known as the “Tower of Babel”. But how can we explain and trace the rise and fall of this great empire considered the original empire of the devil? What really happened to call it the Devil's Hometown? Could this really be the origin of the devil? How the devil got there?
